3 Core Indian Rummy Variants
13 Card Indian Rummy is typically played with two 52-card decks plus printed jokers. Based on time commitment and bankroll preference, players can select from three standard formats:
1. Points Rummy
The fastest variant where each point carries a pre-decided cash value. The winner gets 0 points and calculates winnings based on opponents' unmatched cards.
2. Pool Rummy (101 / 201)
An elimination format. Players who accumulate 101 points (in 101 Pool) or 201 points (in 201 Pool) are knocked out. The last surviving player wins the entire pot.
3. Deals Rummy
Played over a fixed number of deals (e.g., Best of 2 or 3 deals). All players start with equal chip stacks, and the highest chip balance at the end wins.
